A Glass, Darkly

"Now we see in a glass darkly,
                                        but then face to face."

                                           Cozy Harbor, Southport, Maine
                                      Boothbay Harbor Region

There is nothing like a Maine fog to open your eyes!  In a dense fog, you behold different images in a whole array of colors.  They come at you like spectres, dimly lit almost floating on air.  Once the fog clears, I find myself longing for the new in-sight (spelled that way!) into a sense of place.  These three sheds are located off Southport Island called Cozy Harbor in the Boothbay region. Photographers come and go to catch the lower picture's reflection in the water.  Take a good look at the top picture.  Which do you really like?  Clear and direct or in a glass, darkly?
