TSA: The Secret of Assurance

Where Does True Security Lie?

No doubt.  We live in a frightening age when the finish line can literally blow up.  No question. We are asking how to increase safety.  For sure.  there is a move afoot with elected officials to protect the public by tightening things up--gun control, immigration, even terrorism.

Now I am going to share a perception of security which is not the same thing as saying what we need to do politically.  Okay?

The truism is that the more we try to hold onto security, the more it slips from our fingers.  Don't ask me to explain that.  It's a life experience.  The keys for security lie in letting go...seeing yourself centered in something, Someone larger than yourself which this world can never take from you.

Security is mostly superstition.
Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run
than outright exposure.
Life is either a daring adventure or it is not.
